Electro-pneumatic self-levelling on the rear axle maintains consistent vehicle height and ground clearance. This effect is provided by two pneumatic bellows keeping the height of the vehicle at a predetermined level regardless of load conditions.
A compressor driven by an electric motor, in turn, pumps air into the suspension bellows, therefore self-levelling also provides ideal conditions for towing a trailer without oncoming traffic being dazzled due to the vehicle carrying a heavy load.
And last but not least, self-levelling also ensures a consistent standard of driving comfort, with spring travel remaining unchanged at all times.
