Jaguar today announced that it will kick off the holiday car shopping season with a unique all new high-end entry to the market: The 2010 Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition, exclusively through the celebrated Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. Jaguar will produce only 50 of the 2010 Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition - making it a stylish and unique way to celebrate this holiday season. This is the third time a Jaguar has been selected as the featured vehicle in the Book. In 1968, the XKE Grand Touring Coupe was featured, and most recently, the 1997 Jaguar XK8 Convertible.

The all-new 2010 Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition, complete with a five-piece set of matching Jaguar luggage in navy blue leather, will be available for purchase in this year's Neiman Marcus Christmas Book for $105,000. Reservations for the XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition open on Friday October 16 at noon EDT by calling 1-866-524-6963. There will be only 50 Neiman Marcus Editions made, and Jaguar and Neiman Marcus expect them to sell out fast. For those not lucky enough to reserve one of these 50 Neiman Marcus Editions, the XJ arrives in showrooms nationwide in early 2010.

An aggressive take on the highly anticipated all-new 2010 Jaguar XJ, the all-new 2010 Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition, comes in an exclusive Celestial Black metallic paint exterior and a custom butter-soft navy and ivory leather interior with Zebrano matte wood accents. The Neiman Marcus Edition XJL also has 20" double-10 spoke polished alloy wheels, illuminated tread plates and trunk finisher as well as the nameplate on the custom interior Intaglio that reads: "Neiman Marcus 1 of 50." The Neiman Marcus XJL Supercharged is powered by a new third-generation 5-liter V-8 engine with an Eaton supercharger that delivers 470 horsepower and also features the Jaguar Sequential Shift™ six-speed ZF automatic transmission that adapts to its driver, with wheel-mounted shift paddles for sport, standard, and winter mode driving.

The all-new 2010 Jaguar XJ was revealed to critical acclaim this past July, and features a new frame that is pressure cast from aluminum and magnesium to give the XJL a strong, light architecture that improves fuel efficiency, structural rigidity and performance. A panoramic glass roof enables the car to have a lower, more streamlined roofline, while dramatically enhancing the feeling of light and space inside. The vehicle's LED light clusters wrap stylishly over the rear wings, and feature three dramatic red vertical stripes while the elongated teardrop shape of the side windows establishes the car’s silhouette.


The sleek design and refined luxury is continued inside the all-new XJ by mixing newly advanced technologies and contemporary design to create an environment more akin to a state-of-the-art living space than a car cabin. Chrome and piano black detailing provide an eye-catching contrast to the beautifully crafted leather and veneer surfaces. At the center of the instrument panel is an analog clock with individual chrome chaplets, a spun metal face and iridescent blue background; a look inspired by luxury watches.

There are stunning, three-dimensional, interactive 12.3" high-definition Virtual InstrumentsTM that complement an innovative 8-inch Touch-screen that displays vehicle functions ranging from audio and video to navigation and climate control – all in the driver's line of vision. There’s also a media hub with docks for MP3 players and USB devices, a Bowers &Wilkins 1,200-watt premium sound system with Dolby® ProLogic® IIx Surround Sound and 20 speakers throughout the cabin.

2009 STARTECH Jaguar XK/XKR

Exclusive, innovative and individual: These three attributes best describe the STARTECH accessories program for the latest Jaguar XK and XKR models, which is available for coupes and convertibles. A customized XK Coupe gives a good first look at the complete product lineup for the British automobiles. The engineers and designers from STARTECH have developed subtle sporty body modifications, custom-tailored 21-inch forged wheels with corresponding ride-height lowering and eye-catching interior options.

Adding sporty emphasis to the elegant lines of the two-door with subtle components was a challenge the STARTECH styling team mastered with great success. The team developed spoiler flaps that attach to both sides of the production front apron. They upgrade the car’s appearance and reduce lift on the front axle.

All STARTECH aerodynamic-enhancement components are made from carbon fiber. To make these components not only ultra-light but also extremely strong STARTECH uses the same ‘Prepreg’ production process in an autoclave used in motor racing and aerospace engineering.

The face of the Jaguar is further upgraded with daytime running lights. Using precise-fit design elements these lights are beautifully integrated into the stylized air vents on both sides of the bumper.


The STARTECH carbon-fiber rear molding serves as the perfect backdrop for the two tailpipes of the exhaust system and gives the rear of the Jaguar even more character.

The exclusive STARTECH looks are further characterized by STARTECH forged wheels custom-tailored for the XK models. The three-piece Monostar J Diamond Edition wheels intersperse polished surfaces with brushed-look sections and are miles apart from the rest. The same is true for the wheel sizes, which were selected specifically for the sportiest Jaguar model. The front wheel houses are filled to the max by size 9Jx21 wheels with tires in size 255/30 ZR 21. In the rear tires in size 295/25 ZR 21 mounted on size 10.5Jx21 wheels strive to provide maximum traction.

STARTECH sport springs are specially calibrated to these tire/wheel combinations. They lower the ride height of both body styles by some 40 millimeters (1.6 inches).


Exclusive interiors are a particular STARTECH specialty. The interior designers transformed trends from exclusive high-end living into the XK without overpowering the sports car’s British character.

The company upholstery shop has created a fully leather interior made from the finest, especially soft brandy-colored leather. A new combination of contrasting cords and double seams using an especially thick thread creates an entirely new and yet very English ambiance in the cockpit.

The STARTECH interior program also offers countless other color combinations in leather and Alcantara. More than 100 different colors are always in stock, special requests such a leather color that matches a favorite lipstick or other item can also be fulfilled.

New bamboo wood trim elements replace the precious-wood and aluminum trim available from the factory. The wood color is specially matched to the brandy-colored leather. A special bleaching and staining process makes it possible to match the leather color exactly. This STARTECH innovation also gives customers a choice of open-pore, matte or high-gloss surface finishes. Genuine carbon-fiber trim sets with different structures and colors are yet another option for customizing the interior.

Further exclusive ideas for the interior are scuff plates with illuminated STARTECH logo and high-quality floor mats bordered with color-coordinated leather.

Upon introduction, the XK Coupe is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 300-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. The XKR Convertible is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 420-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

The 2008 XK-Series is a carryover from 2007.
